The story of the Pass goes something like this: Kyle Peters and Will Roberts met and became friends in high school in New Jersey and played in a couple of garage bands together. Will moved to Louisville where he met the rest of the group; Brian Healey and Neil Lucas. Unsatisfied with separate projects Kyle and Will decided to start a band and Kyle moved to Louisville. Strongly influenced by the dance beats of Justice, LCD Soundsystem, Daft Punk, and an affinity for 80s synth pop, The Pass was born.
We currently spend endless nights toying around with synthesizer loops, crafting haunting melodies, and writing deep passionate lyrics that recall long lost loves and hookups on the dance floor. With a basement sound lab that lends itself as much to electric ladyland as it does a preschool nursery there is a neverending quest for a balanced perfection of synthesizer pop and dancefloor psychedelia. Our live show is somewhere between the final act of a three ring circus and a rave in prague.

Sick/Sea

Once upon a time, there was a band called Sick/Sea who wrote songs about the countless lessons love teaches. Playing their music in the tropical climate of South Texas, they garnered a fan base who appreciated the unique style that mixed the band's influences of Indie, Jazz, Rock, and even a breath of Hardcore. Their songs are strung together by the powerful vocals and jazzy chord progressions of Audrey Scott, the swelling and crashing bass lines of Miguel Morales, and the dynamic drum beats of the singer's brother, Cameron Scott. The dedication of these three has enabled the band to release two EPs and embark on a successful East Coast tour. Now three years seasoned, they have buckled down to make music their long-time career.
